GMA Job Center Kiosk

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will launch its newest project for the Filipino people, the GMA Job Center Kiosk. The launching of its one of a kind system will be on April 2, 2008 , 5:00 PM at the Robinsons Mall, Ermita, Manila.

As a backgrounder, the GMA JOB CENTER KIOSK is an information machine which will be installed at the malls, potential LGU sites and in areas where there are heavy human traffic. Basically the kiosk is anchored on the Phil-JobNet (www.phil-job.net) application plus a host of other information mentioned below:

Job Vacancy information posted in the Phil-JobNet both local/overseas
List of licensed recruitment agencies for local and overseas
Duly accredited Job Orders by POEA
List of TESDA Certified Workers
List of Skills registered in the Phil-JobNet
Procedures in applying for overseas jobs
Procedures in availing OWWA benefits for OFWs
Livelihood Opportunities
List of Professionals Registered with the PRC
Wage rate in each region

In addition, GMA Job Center Kiosk shall serve as an extension portal for Skills registration, Job matching facility, and information source on reintegration services for returning OFWs.
